BCL 102 Buffer tube question.

Hey yall, if i wanna change my buffer tube on my gen 2 bcl 102 for an fde one.. what do i have to check.. ive been told that normal ar10 milspec buffer tube will not fit so i just wanna make sure before i buy and i cant find anything about it on the internet

All threads are milspec. It’s the dia that differs. Regardless there are two different systems, the Armalite that uses longer buffer tubes and normal buffers or the DPMS system that uses normal buffer tubes but shorter buffers. You need to determine what your rifle came with and go from there.
