I have a Magpul PRS butt stock and buffer tube that is 10" long, my question is will this buffer tube work ?, will I need a different spring, this is the first "black rifle" I have ever owned so excuse my ignorance about the fitment of non stock parts.
thanks in advance for your info

If you change to a Rifle Length buffer tube (9 5/8) then you will need a new Buffer and Spring.

I have done this on the BCL102.

It also depends on which PRS stock you have. If it is a Gen 3, then you don’t have to do anything. However, if it is a Gen 1 or 2, you have to make sure you have a 7.62 or AR-10 model. The AR-15 model won’t let you #### the rifle without hitting the cheek riser. The AR-10 model cheek riser is just a little bit smaller to allow you to #### the rifle. Or you could "Bubba it, and cut the cheek riser back a bit.

Just make sure you get the right one. The Gen 3 is the simplest and the most cost effective.
