How are you guys changing out the handguards and gas blocks?

just clamping the upper in a vice and twisting it off/torquing it on, or using a barrel extension torque tool like the brownells/gisselle one?

Barrel extension tool is a good idea, dont want to warp or mar your upper. TNA has some clone tools that are not as expensive as the Geissele

What is the difference between AR-10 and AR -15 for the handguard??

AR -15 handguards do not fit. You need an AR -10 DPMS high hand-guard with an armistice barrel nut.
