About 5 and a bit years ago I completely disassembled my rifle to the bare receiver. At the time, I never thought to document the process. I would like to put this jig saw puzzle back together and I'd like to do it right the first time. Found a few videos on ar10 assembly and I know that will get me close, but I know there are differences however slight. I have time, tools and patience and want to make this rifle whole again. Any help would be appreciated.

Is it much different from ar 10/15? I'm sure there's videos still around
I don't know, that's why I am asking the question before I proceed. I believe the mag release is different, the safety selector should be the same. It's the subtle stuff I don't want to miss.

The assembly is virtually the same as a AR15 with just slightly larger parts.

I remember getting the handguards to line up with the barrel nuts was a complete nightmare when I was assembling these rifles (Version 2) years ago for the shop I worked at.

Hopefully your exact rifle is one of the ones that did manage to run flawlessly.

You have a stripped upper and a stripped lower?
There are some tools required to reinstall the barrel.

It was one of the good ones, hence my apprehension to put it back together. If I get this right it will be as good as I remember.
