Hey there

Looking for a replacement for my buttstock. I am having a hard time figuring out what type I need that will work with the standard buffer tube. Any help would be great thank you.

Just a normal milspec buffer tube that was the first thing I changed was that ugly Captain Hook looking stock lmao buy a milspec stock not commercial stock

Given the "long nose" on those guns, a Magpul UBR might help out the balance a little - they come with their own receiver extension ("buffer tube")

My advise (take it or leave it)

The handguard and barrels are quite heavy on those rigs, while the stock it comes with is rather light. This gives it a rather nose heavy feel, and hard to pull off standing shots. Buy a light weight handguard, and a Magpul UBR. It will accomplish two things.

1. Take about 6-10 ounces off the nose (depending on brand)
2. Add about 8 ounces to the rear.

This will achieve a much better balanced rifle, without adding any extra weight.

Just installed Magpul UBR Gen 2. Works and looks great. OD green not exact match but close enough.
