The MRX Bison is a compact, light and rugged bolt action rifle that is chambered in .300 Blackout and is fed with AR15 magazines. This rifle would be comfortable in its scabbard on the side of a horse, packed, slung or mounted onto a Utility Vehicle for ranch, range or backcountry duty. The vertical pistol grip and adjustable stock allows for the rifle to be shot comfortably in any position.

CHASSIS
Machined from aircraft grade aluminum. Finished with Type III hard coat anodize and Cerakote. The chassis comes with side and under rail MLOK mounting points and an integral “one point” QD sling point on the opposite side of the bolt.

ACTION
MRX Supershort with three lug bolt offering a 60 degree bolt throw.

12.5 inch Steel Barrel finished with Nitride and Cerakote

Shooting 300 blackout subs are still much quieter than x39

300 blackout is 223 case with a 308 bullet so only thing that changes is barrel. Used to be my favorite upper swap on my AR 5.56 and 300blk

Common magazine usage (mostly), stockpile of 300blk that can no longer be used due to OIC, commonality with off the shelf 30cal components for reloading, compatible bolt face with .223/5.56, range of loads from 110gr to 220gr with published data.

I swapped out all evil parts from my AR and rebuilt it on the Renegade receiver to make it non evil and non restricted 10.5" barrel 28" OAL rifle that I can take out to the bush and shoot
