As you can see the notch on the top of the spine is slightly narrower on some of the XCR-M pistol magazines. It is the one on the right. Some fit fine, some don't. You'll need to open the notch up a bit with a file...on the left side looking at it, for the bolt to release on an open bolt. There seems to be some slight variation on the mags.

I'll post another mag shortly.

The one on the left has the rounded off corner.

Here are all 5 of my XCR-M mags with the left side on the spine repaired to allow the bolt catch to release the bolt when you press it.

Quick EASY 1 minute fix per mag.

for legal reasons, the mags were modified to be in spec, NOT TO FIT THE NEA102 (or else you will need to pin) if remanufactured for rifles...

thanks for the info! :)

I have 8 xcr mags, some of them today worked with the bolt release, some didn't. I'll check them out later thanks for the heads up. I had been wondering why.

Yes that is correct. They are not being made to fit the 102, the notch is being changed to be in spec. It is also why I posted other magazines for comparison.
