BCL102 dust cover issue

Humm , I was really interested in these but damm, that is alot issues on arrival!

So what are the issues people are seeing on arrival?
-Undersize dust cover
-loose barrel
-trigger guard protruding in the magwell
-out of spec parts?
- ugly name change lol! (NEA102>BCL102>Catamount)

The one I received the dust cover fit tight all the way around. I think they messed up the ejection port on a few and instead of rejecting them, tried to see if they could put them out and hope no one complained. Just my take on it.

Easily fixed by completely gutting the upper/lower and using all new parts.

I hope so I'm still waiting for delivery of my gen2, should be here next week

I’m getting the stripped set, might regret when I start to build it.

But waiting till the 22nd century for the QC to potentially improve is too long a wait.

Same here dust cover fit but had to Dremel the trigger guard area smooth so didn't need a vice to get a mag out was easier than your method lol.

So what are the dinsions of your port opening and door.
I'd like to know what they changed.

Has anyone found a port door that works?

There is a lot of little things that were half assed with these rifles. I have a Gen 2 and the spring for the retaining pin was too short and the pin would back out when handling. QA/QC dept must have been on vacation when these guns were boxed on shipped. ��

I had the same issue with the trigger guard . Changed the trigger guard to a Rainier Arms Enhanced trigger guard and shaved a little off the mag rivet and it drops out when released.
