BCL102 Range Review, SECOND RANGE TRIP POST 123!!!

So, I have been looking through the BCL102 threads and at the end it is either:

- completely reliable out of the box with good accuracy and no ftf etc

or

- doesn't cycle right out of the box with crap assembly and fit and finish and has to be returned immediately for warranty work if they accept it

Which is it? All I want is a NR rifle that I can hunt with

Then buy it. It is both NR and can kill stuff.

You are getting a small sampling of the vocal on either side of the fence with this group.
Most people don't take to a forum to be complacent. they come to a forum to either rant or rave.

Nah! for half the price of a MH I got a AR10 and no proprietary parts as a bonus.

But the MVs is a sweet looking piece of kit :)

I would stay far far away from a modern hunter. Owned one and wouldn't do it again, look at the EE people can't get rid of them. Mine was inaccurate and a jam o matic. I am much more satisfied with my bcl since I can shoot it without it jamming and so far seems just as accurate as my modern hunter was. The modern hunter was sold as being able to do sub moa easy and ended up being a 1.5 to 2 moa gun, the bcl so far seems to be the same with the exception of it being marketed as an easy sub moa gun.

I never fired my bcl in stock configuration though. Changed out the handguard, charging handle, grip, stock, bolt catch and trigger. Most of those changes are cosmetic and preference with the exceptions being the bolt catch and trigger. The originals seemed to function fine but I never fired any rounds with them in place. I did have to dremel my trigger guard to be able to actually use mags properly. Even with an extra 1k of upgrades it still comes in cheaper than a base modern hunter. I did upgrade the stock, grip, hanguard on my modern hunter as well.
