BCM KMR in M-Lok coming in 2017...

Not surprised. This came up less than a year ago here...

BCM will not be doing an MLOK rail.

Not yet they won't. I'd check back in a few years, see if their stance has softened.

They won't.

We'll see.

This is why I take the long view of things.

I'm not surprised, I don't think either one will phase the other out in the near future just as M-LOK/Keymod haven't entirely phased out pic rail. That being said, you've got to keep up with the demand your customer base dictates and I think BCM has done a good job with that, which is even more so apparent now.

Hopefully they don't have such a hard time keeping up with demand like they did with the KMR.

KMR's are pretty bountiful still, just not the original models which as far as I've been made aware was due to a raw material supply issue. I can't imagine BCM will make the same mistake twice using an unobtanium/unicorn piss blend.

BCM finally came around ;) I'm glad. I knew quite a few BCM fan boys who thought M-lok was inferior and crap because BCM didn't want anything to do it with.

They're also coming out with a quad rail of the KMR.

I still think M-LOK is inferior, keyword being "think" so I bought a geissele SMR for my latest build to put this debate to rest.

The UKSF pretty nails what it is the most optimal hand guard configuration for the current equipment through the L119A2 upper. If everyone follows that template there is no need for M-lok and Key-mod at all.

It is very annoying people don't put full rail at 6 o'clock so it is difficult to adjust the QD bipod and vertical grip ( despite it is not cool in the commercial market anymore)

I guess Eric Kincel came around on it. It could be predictable that they held out so long since the inventor of Keymod works for them.
