well I have been eyeing the BCM The Jack Carbine i like the fetures it has and reviews seem to be all good whith quality and reliability.

But wow what a price tag going from 2,700-3,400 canadian

looking for any opinions on if it is worth the money any input is welcome.

Thanks

expensive, but its loaded, you dont need to mod it at all.
my colt m4 came to 1250$CAN
+ noveske nsr 300$
+ timney trigger 200$
+ magpul str 75$
+ dynacomp 100$
+ troy gas block 30$
+ noveske keymod qd 30$
+ shipping and customs for all these parts 250$
+ gunsmithing work 50$
so, 2300$ and its still a colt.
BCM in my opinion is slightly better so the price makes sense at 2700 but not 3400

I bought one last year and it's been my go to gun ever since! In my opinion, it's one of the best ARs ever built. It's light weight, ultra reliable, great trigger and very soft shooting.

If you're anywhere near Trenton ON, you are welcome to come out and try it. Or if you can make it out the next Demo Day, you can check it out.

PM me if you're interested.

It was affordable when the dollars were at parity. I bought an SR-15 for 2k at that time and had it imported with IRG. Now I find that particular rifle to be on the expensive side. Better off getting one of the Colt Canada's while there are still some kicking about, IMO.

BCM is a well known for their quality, if you really want the Jack Carbine? I say go for it, sure you can spend 2/3 of the price building one up with the exact features, but ultimately it is still not a Jack.

"Loaded" is a loaded term. It has a ton of mods, and not necessarily the mods everyone wants or needs. You need to price out a stock rifle and any changes you wish to do to it and compare that to the Jack. I feel the Jack carbine is over priced and offers very little over a stock BCM carbine. The BCM recce14 or mid-16 with rail are both a grand cheaper and are missing only a few features which are neither necessary nor expensive to source separately. Their basic mid-16 is $1200 cheaper and gives you complete control over what accessories or mods you do.

Buy it, hands down. I have the BCM EAG carbine, best rifle I have shot. Beats out many other ARs, my friends got jealous once they shot it. Best money I have every spent, more than happy with it.

BCM has some of the best quality control in the business and there is a reason many people who's lives depend on it swear by them.

are they expensive, yup, is it worth it, absolutely. If the JACK is set up how you want it, I would go with that over a modded base model.

No one doubts the quality of BCM, nor the qyality of the mod parts on the Jack. The problem is the price and whether those mod parts fit your liking.

Like I mentionned above, my colt modded up to my liking came to 2300$ and it has exactly what I want on it.

AR15 are like women, tons of options but only a very few that fit exactly what you want. I.E. If you want a brunette with big tits and straight legs that isnt a gold digger and has a brain, thats a lot rarer than the run of the mill fake blonde fake tits gold digger soccer mom with crocodile skin that thinks Kim Kardashian should run for president.
