I would like to see a good showing of our Tactical, Service Rifle and F-Class shooters to show that we are serious about our disciplines and will be a driving force in the BCRA. I don't like to sit in a room with just Ed and myself representing our 60 shooters while there are 20 TR shooters that show up regularly. I would like to see at minimum 30 of us. To attend you need to email Bob Pitcairn at rpitcairn@bcrifle.org to let him know you will be attending.

Who will come? How about food at Earl's after?

The layout and directions are as follows.

The 2009 BCRA Annual General Meeting and Council Meeting will NOW be held at the Chilliwack Twin Rinks Ice Arena. Twin Rinks is located at 5745 Tyson Road in Vedder Crossing (Chilliwack). The Annual General Meeting will be held in the Fraser Room and the Council will meet on Sunday in the Vedder Room. The scheduled events are:

Saturday, November 7th, 2009: Fraser Room
0900 -1000 - Lower Mainland Regional Section Annual General Meeting
1000 -1015 - Special Council Meeting if needed
1030 -1630 - BCRA Annual General Meeting
1630 -1700 - Silent Auction
1800 – Informal dinner at a location to be determined

HOW TO GET TO TWIN RINKS?

1. Eastbound on BC #1 Freeway – Take exit #116 at Lickman Road. Travel south about 6 kms. You will cross South Sumas Road at a 4 way stop, continue south and cross over railroad tracks. At flashing red light, turn left and travel east on Keith Wilson Road. You will pass Chilliwack Area Support Unit at corner of Keith Wilson and Korea Road. Continue east about 125 metres and turn left onto Tyson Road. Proceed north about 200 metres and Twin Rinks is on your left.

2. Westbound on BC #1 Freeway – Take exit #119 at Vedder Road. Travel south about 6 Kms. You will cross Promontory Road at a traffic light and shopping centre on your left. Continue south on Vedder Road passing Jolly Miller Pub on your right. The second traffic light after the Jolly Miller Pub is the traffic light at Keith Wilson Road. Turn right, and travel west on Keith Wilson Road passing Blvd Street and Kathleen Drive. Next right is Tyson Road. Turn right and proceed north about 200 metres and Twin Rinks is on your right.
 
Mike, I won't be able to be there in the morning, so is it worth me showing up later on?
oh and why have I not received anything in the mail in regards to this? I haven't had a mailout from the BCRA since I sent in my membership form and got my card back.

The AGM runs from 1030 to 430, if you come at noon you will have only missed two hours.

With regard to mail. On the membership form did you put that you would wish to receive correspondance by mail or email? The other problem could be that you just fell through the cracks, it wouldn't be the first time.

I try to follow behind and pick up the pieces..................

Sometimes I miss a few.
 
I think I may have to miss the AGM, because I have a BIG F%$KIN tree through my roof!! :mad:
Got some repairs done today but not finished yet.
