Bd-38 mp-38

We have not heard of feeding problems, mind you you should use good mags.... I would guess that well worn battle veterans migh give some problems.

As with any open bolt gun full loads should be used if you want to enjoy proper functioning....

If the Euro takes a nose-dive and our CanBuck doesn't, you might be looking at those critters for $4.98 plus tax. In a scenario such as this, the current price would be a disaster for owners.

The Euro is weak right now, but I don't think it's quite that weak.

Of course, the Reichsmark DID manage to depreciate disastrously.... on a daily basis, too... but I don't think we're going to see that again for a while.

What really concerns me is the fact that our dollar is staying below the US, which is plain silly. It's being kept that-a-way by the international currency dealers in order that our resources should be available "internationally" at rock-bottom prices.

I think we should stop exporting ANY resources from which you can build an army: sell finished products only. If nothing else, it would put a million Canadians back to work in an awful hurry. There would be enough jobs that even some of our million-plus illegals might come out of the woodwork and off the welfare rolls and actually work for a living... for a change.

Oh well.... one can always wish.

Hey! We could have our own SA Bren Gun factory!

Betcha didn't think of that!

I've always wanted an MP 40, but alas, I either have to start setting aside cash (and lots of it) or wait until someone sells one in an intoxicated stupor for under $1000.

Edit: I'm referring to a BD 38.

There are manuals available in English for the originals.

Check in SMALL ARMS OF THE WORLD in the chapter on German WW2 stuff.

Lots in there on the MP-38, MP-40, MP-3008 and StG-44.
