BDL to ADL

what is involved with going from rem 700 BDL style stock to an ADL(blind) stock? is the sping assembly the same? would I need to get an ADL spring and follower? thanks

You should be able to use your BDL mag box and follower without problem, the tolerances aren't that close. - dan

The BDL box is not as deep as the ADL box. The difference is about 1/8" and the angle is slightly diferent. Spring and follower are the same, some ADL's have a spring holder(?) on the bottom of the spring that locates the spring in the mag cut out, I've also seen ADL's without this part.
I have extra ADL boxes and trigger guards...long or short action?
