Anyone know if there is a source of non-LE bean-bag rounds in Canada. For home defence (probably not) or for use on the neighbours non-leashed dog who get out of the backyard? Mostly just curious.

why non-law enforcement ??

you should be able to buy them at police ordenence and 911 supply..... tell them they are for scaring bears away.

I used to have a bunch and they are fun.... but rubber bullets and rubber buckshot is better

I think a 1/2 pound bag hitting a Bear @ ???FPS will really piss it off.

piss him off or scare him away...... scare him away with the fear of god that the next time he approaches the house he is going to get smacked again.

Redleg, do you have rubber slugs available? I think these would be more effective than he bean bags for hazing nuisance bears.

I have trident and beehive (3 and 40 pellet respectively) rubber shot. The Rubber rockets are sold out. They provide better range and accuracy, but the bags hit harder up close.

Am I right in thinking the bags might be reloadable?
ie..go pick them up, dust them off, and put them in a new shell with powder, and Primer?

If so any idea what powder, and amount is used?
Not to cut into your biz or anything but, the $7.50 per shot is abit out of my budget.

I'm also interesting in the noise makers.
And the Rubber shot/slugs also. :D
