Does someone have a link or website that lists the rules and regulations for bear baiting in Ontario? I took a quick look in the regs I've got here and didn't see anything (maybe I'm not looking hard enough?!?) and I couldn't find anything on the OMNR webpage.

There are no specifics in the regs about bear baiting... it is legal but they do not give you instructions on How-To ... just put out bait and shoot a bear. 8)

I remember someone telling me awhile ago about rules to do with distances from other people's properties, that any food barrels needed to be marked with a name and that it's for bear hunting and that you couldn't start baiting until something like 2 weeks before the season. Are there rules about this?
