Bear hunting

Never hunted bear before but would like to start. Acquired a piece of land (Ontario) that has a bunch of bears according to locals.

Have questions regarding the licensing and tags.

How does it work in Ontario?
I find the gov website confusing on a good day, including their explanations, and this has me stumped.

I got the bear license. Now I'm assuming I need a tag. When I go to get a tag, only one option is available for bear tags: "second bear tag" only. I don't need a second, only one. And when you click on that second tag option, it only gives you a handful of wmu's, none applicable to me.

So basically my question is how to I get a tag for a bear in ontario?

it may be confusing but it is what you need to know so i would call there office and get it straight from the horses mouth second hand internet info is sketchy at best

You've already bought the tag when you purchased your bear licence. You just need to print it now. Go to your "My Active Licences" tab and you can print your tag from there.

I always grab a second bear tag, never know when you will have the opportunity to fill each. Bear is is the longest big game season in Ontario.
