Beautiful laminate precision stocks - found in the Internet

I can ask on his Facebook. It is in Ukrainian only.
The blue and Yellow stock is 1.8kg. The one with aluminum (last pic) is going to be havier.

Finally. The first stock from SA Riflestocks in Canada.
Just got it from Canada Post.
2 more rounds of oiling and it will be matched with Tikka T3x SS Varmint .308Win
The quality of both wood and metal parts is absolutely stunning. Plywood isn't Finnish, btw. It was made in the USA. All metal parts are made in Ukraine.
The stock is made in colors of the Ukrainian National Flag.

Or Sweden, Barbados, etc... Jk...

Looks like a decent piece of furniture indeed and well fit/finish. It looks like the stock you have comes with a ARCA rail but then you added a picatinny section under to mount your Atlas bipod? Why not just get an ARCA adaptor for the Atlas?

True:) my bajan relative will be excited. Thank you for the idea of ARCA adapter. That's just awesome. Will order one.

If there is no copyright on the C19 Ranger stock, I wonder if they could duplicate the C19 stock for the Tikka Arctic for collectors?

Wouldn't that be like a waste of time and money? The C19 stock is just a basic, sporting style stock. Functional yes, but not exactly notable.

Fairly certain the authentic C19 stock is meant to say "Government Property!" and the T3x Arctic is designed to be just distinct enough from that to be clear it's a private-owner rifle.

Very nice. I really like his work.

Material-wise, this is the ultimate high-end.
The laminate used isn't a usual Finnish one. It is a custom-made material. I have found it in the USA particularly for this rifle. One more rifle stock was made from this slab for Sako 6.5 SE.
All metal parts are either Stainless Steel or 7075 Aluminum. Plastic parts - polyformaldehyde. Musk uses it for his Falcons.
The man who made it has designed every single part of this stock, including metal parts, metal bottom, and everything else. He showed me his blueprints made in Solidworks - absolutely unbelievable. It is like one-man-orchestra:)

From the cad illustrations it seems he changed his mind from GRS clone to Woox FURIOSA

with aluminum center piece and forend and buttstock in wood.

But it is still very questionable what the real intent is. If this is for target shooting, it is a generation behind of current trends - adjustable balance, weight, hand to trigger, arca and so on. If this is for hunting it is way too bulky and heavy. If this is for the particular grip and stock shapes - GRS polymer models are offering these shapes for way better weight and durability. If this is for high end presentation/vanity market - it is way too utilitarian an way too expensive labor with too common materials. It obviously not combat/military. And it is obviously not a cheap cost saving option.

So I'm really puzzled what the intent is and thinking behind it. On the other hand, well, this is a hobby, so I can only applaud the dedication and craftsmanship.

This looks like it will definitely be a folder. First thing to do when you get it is (if the factory has not) drill some 1/4" holes through from inside the inlet out into the area directly behind and through the area behind the grip. Epoxy in some 1/4" steel threaded rod. Lam is weaker than real wood. I have fixed lots of these. If I build a gun on one I won't let it out the door not done.

While I like the look, I am not keen on the grip, finger grooves turn me off, and I think I'd like it a bit more vertical, look pretty well thought out other than that. Like the look of the Wook stock, too.

I have various MDT and GRS stocks and like both for different uses. I have always liked the offset grip on the GRS stocks and find them much easier to adjust. Of course the MDT chassis offers more to tinker with. It would depend on what the rifle is being used for.
