bedding a parker-hale

i have a 1100 375 h&h parker hale, is there anyone who specializes, in p-hales? i would like to have it bedded, action and barrel lug in fore stock. and trigger lightened up. thank you 458 lott
 
Anyone who works on Mausers(ie also just about any credible smith) will be able to help with working on your PH 1100.

Before you get the trigger worked on, consider adjusting the trigger screws to see if you find anything acceptable.
 
It's just a Mauser... one of the first rifles most guys learn to bed... have the "lungs" bedded too... if your "smith" doesn't know what the "lungs" are... they are the recesses on both sides or the rear part of the action ahead of the tang... they also are a recoil area. The rear of the tang should have clearance. This bedding should be done using no screw tension while the epoxy cures...
 
This is something that you might try and do yourself.

Buy some bedding compound and read the instructions, throughly, before you attempt it though!
