bedding a stock with aluminum bedding block

I'm wondering if you can or should glass bed a stock that has a full aluminum bedding block already?

You can and probably you should. I recommend it.

I have yet to meet an alum chassis that didn't need bedding in a very big way.

Isn't that how the aluminum chassis/lamininate/hardwood/polly hybrid stock was invented in the first place?
Precision shooters and custom gunsmiths inleting a stock and glassbedding an aluminum bar inside a regular gun stock? I mean Before they were mas-produced by molding plastic around them.

Its a great project did one of mine..( the first was not the best) and had my Gunsmith do my Comp 6BR that was a B&C Medalist with the aluminum. Best investment I ever spent.

"...a cool project..." Isn't difficult, terribly expensive nor are any special tools required. Buy an Acraglas kit(about $30) and follow the directions on the box.
Doesn't always make a rifle shoot better, but it will make it shoot consistently.
