So I have a bubba'd K98. A scrubbed WW1 Danzig, perfect shooter.
Dressed it up nice with a Kahles 2.3 x 7 and a repro Mauser SSR, but...the stock sucked badly. It'd shoot but it was real rough on the eye's.
My son gave me an early '80's 'bubba's are us' version of Shotgun News. I'm a Milsurp guy so I wiped my butt with it and burned it...not really. Left it at work, as I'd never need it.
Serendipity sent me a 2/3 length laminate stock... nice! It's totally set up free floated with the K98 bbl...now I need to bed it. I'm sure it would have been in that rag, but it's gone.
Anyone here point me to a good article on bedding please?
