Bedding Compound question

My boss told me to go clean out some of the stuff we never use on the shelves. Out of this selection of things to be turfed are several unopened 1kilo packs of Belzona 1321 (ceramic s metal) as well as the belzona 9111 cleaner degreaser. I told him how much they cost and he said if I wanted em to take em.

Has anyone bedded usimg Belzona and can anyone think of a reason I shouldn't scoop these up?

For me the simple fact is that it contains ceramic material is enough to not use it for bedding purposes... it would be way to hard on chisels and gouges to alter or remove it. Maybe shim material under bases... but you don;t need pounds of out dated stuff for that.

I was wondering about that, the data sheet shows its high machinability as one of their selling points...
