I'm trying to solve an accuracy problem with a Browning A-bolt Medallion boss 30-06.
The rifle groups randomly in approx 4" despite different brands of ammo and different settings on the boss.
I've noticed that the front action screw passes though Browning's factory bedding and in fact the bedding is "threaded" from taking this screw out to remove the stock.
Should the bedding be drilled out slightly to prevent the screw from contacting the bedding or the is normal for Browning. ?
I realize that there are many other factors but I don't want to drill out something that really isn't a problem
Thanks in advance
