Should not be a problem taking your Dremel tool and digging out the surface of the old bedding out and using another bedding compound.
Btw, what are you thinking of using for a bedding compound this time around? Devcon? JB Weld? MarineTex?
Keep us posted on how things proceed. Would be interesting to know.
Cheers, Barney.
I am looking into buying a used USGI fiberglass stock.
It has been bedded once already.
Is there any issue of grinding out the old bedding and re bedding it for my action?
Thanks guys/gals!
I used the package Brownells sells. Worked well. Cant comment on what it did for my rifle because it hasnt been shot in 2 years since I did it.
yes Im aware thats a sin
Look around the heel, trigger housing, or the magwell.I just got an m1a super match. Is there a way to tell without takedown if it is bedded? I think it is but just asking. The barrel, if anything, appears floating.
