Where can I buy Beeman air guns in Canada, preferably Ontario. I'm looking for the registered ones not the crap Canadian Tire sells. I've spoke to some local dealers and they can't order them because of some contract Canadian tire has. Any help would be appreciated.

Just get a Weihrauch. Specialty Shooting finally has some in stock. Beemans are just renamed Weihrauchs with an 'improved' stock and the price reflects it.

Thanks for the info, I looked them up and I dont see the ones I'm after. What I'm looking for is a .22 cal at 1000fps and a .177 at 1400fps. They are both in the new Cabellas (USA) catalogue.

Just looked them up. Those aren't proper Weihrauch built Beemans. One is a full power version of the Canadian Tire special, I don't recognize the other one. You can do much better for the price. I suggest you look into the Weihrauch rifles if you want top quality. FWIW airgunsource.com carries the Beeman R7 & R9, both are top quality rifles (and are rebadged Weihrauchs).

Thanks for the input guys, the guns arent actually for me they are for my boss to take to his cottage. I explaned the accuracy issues to him right off the bat but he seems to just want them for the power. I looked back in the catalogue and the guns are called the Mach 12.5 .

99% of the advertised velocities are hyped up. I doubt you'd be getting 1250 fps out of one of these so called "Beemans". I'd recommend a Gamo CFX from Lebaron's instead. It has an excellent reputation as a decent, entry level magnum springer. Another cheaper option is the Crosman Phantom in 177. Both the CFX and Phantom should deliver close to 1000 fps out of the box.

If your boss wants 1250 fps, tell him to look at something like the AirForce Condor.

I have one of the HW 97 models and just did the phone book test at 20' for penetration, was surprised to find it went into 400 pages, with a round nose match pellet. FS
