I was just wondering what a Belguim Browning BAR 308, Grade 1 in very good codition, with a Tasco 3x9 scope would go for.

There was one or is one in the EE as recent as last Friday for under 1K.
Do some research with what site sponsors have in the used inventory section of their web sites.

I am considering purchasing the rifle. The photos in the ad show a rifle that is in very good condition. Though the add title is incorrect. It says it's a Mark 11, with a 1999 manufacture date, but from the photos it it is clearly a type 1 grade 1. It has the flip up rear sight, and a scalloped reciever where it meets the stock. All of that don't make it more valuable, but I hate ad inaccuracies. It makes me wonder whether the ad is legit. The asking price is $900 dollars shipped, which is reasonable in my estimations. Though I was looking for a consensus, which I got. Thank you

Get all the info you can about the seller or meet them face to face. Phone number, address, and anything else they are comfortable giving to you. Ah I see it has to be shipped. So buy insurance, tracking number and we hope it gets to you in good shape.

i would question the sellers knowledge when it comes to condition if they can't even get the model correct
