i recently aquired an estate of 30 guns and one of the ones that i cant figure out is a belgium 20 gauge? i think never really checked but proof marks include E over LG over Star in an Oval with no crown so i believe its post 1893? also an M with a star over it which apparently is the louis couchant controller of proofs from1923 to 1952 which conflicts the whole post 1893
nice gun with ebony piece off trigger guard no forearm just two levers to push to break open and the other to takedown. also a K. on two spots and 16.8 and something that looks like a key and some kind of wierd ss. This is all the markings i can find all are on the barrel and the m the k and the key thing are in the action.
anything anybody can tell me would be great.
