Has any one had much to do with this stock, wondering how it will hold up to recoil against a 338. Any feed back would be grate, and just for the record i know Mcmillan and others are better, im just trying to get out of the factory Rem xcr stock at a price that wont brake the bank. Thanks
 
They're pretty decent for the price, the aluminum block is great and adds structure and stiffness to the stock. The recoil pad is a pacmayer style decelerator pad and absorbs pretty good soft and comfortable. I like mine in the olive drab.
 
I put one on a Rem 700 classic .338WM. Worked ok, held up fine, just the stock shape wasn't for me. I had to bed it to the block, as the fit wasn't the best.
 
I have one on my 338 win mag and really like it. The fit was pretty good. Only had to open up the barrel channel a bit. Pretty minor.

Mine is an XCR as well.
