Bell and Carlson

Finally received my Bell and Carlson Medalist for my new Remington last week and took it for a test drive. All I can say is I'm a happy camper.

I think I found a load it likes.

Nice looking unit and beauty group. What is it, 30-06? 57g of IMR 4350 behind a 180 partition in my Featherweight doesn't group quite that good, but it's close. Anyway nice job

It's a 30-06 pushing a 165gr Hornady IL.

Ya gotta love IMR4350, too.... My pet load in .300 Win Mag is 70 grains behind a 180 grain SP.

Are the Medalist the same as the TIs?

The Ti has pillars and the regular medalist has a full aluminum bedding block.

I have the same stock on my 700 stainless 35 Whelen.like it a lot.

I think I had the stock Rembo has now, which I put on a CDL SF 30-06. Nice handle, a bit heavy but nice feel and stiff
