belt held bulk ammo cup???

Hiya,
i seem to be shooting single shots a lot more recently - must be getting old and reverting back to when i was a kid

when i was a kid i always wanted one of those nifty bulk ammo cups that were held on the belt, so there was this open topped container to simply drop a hand and grab a cartridge and chamber it.

Does any one know where to find such a thing??? i have been all through the cabela's/wholesale/epps sites and also Uncle mikes. nothing

i can not even find a picture on the net to put up to show what i am talking about.

Any help or references would be much appreciated!

don't know what you're describing but perhaps a trap shooter vest will work. They have deep fabric pockets and are pretty well built.

i found one, and it was at uncle mikes! i knew i was missing something.

You can find them at Princess Auto as well. Meant for holding pellets, but .22 fits no problem. Cheap also.

Get an SKS ammo pouch, 4 bucks. Holds 300 rounds and great for gopher hunting and easy access to rounds.

here is a Canadian guy that makes something along the lines of what you want... I'm sure if you wanted something larger or more specific he could do it.

If you want something bigger- I use a leather nail pouch on the belt for shotgun shells. Available at any hardware store.

yeah! that's the one (post #10) - glad you could figure out how to put a picture up
that would be exactly what i had envisioned and remembered from when i was a kid - except that there was no Velcro then, wups, kinda old eh?
