Hey all,
So I have noticed alot of pics in the ee have an amoror bench mat, usually glock, sig 226.
I have seen these on eBay, but 45 plus 25 shipping is crazy and I havnt found them locally.
Does anyone have a line on a retailer with a decent selection and price on these here in Canada? I would like to get these as the diagrams for take down and cleaning is perfect as I guess that's why others go for these.

Any help would be awsome!
 
Where on Ebay were you looking... The ones I see are anywhere from $12 to $25 with $8 to $11 shipping to Canada...

I get that all the time, I look and it's always high prices. I use the Canadian site. I find glock but there is several versions so don't know which is the newest, and when I search sig all I find is 229 or 220, what no 226?

I'll be in Florida for Daytona 500 so I'll have to check out gun shops there, maybe find some good prices on mags and a new barrel for the 226

Not quite what you're looking for, but I got a piece of magnetic sign vinyl from a sign shop to put on my bench. (This is the stuff guys who work as couriers and who use their own cars put on temporarily while the're on the job.) It prevents tiny screws and other parts with escapist tendencies from disappearing. It's sold by the foot off a 24" wide roll. Unfortunately the magnetic layer is the black "back" side, so that's the side that has to face you; it would be nice to be able to have a white (or colour of your choice) magnetic mat to work on but the magnetic field on the coloured side is too weak.
