I am presently working with Benchmark barrels to bring this brand into Canada. Benchmark is well known for rimfire bbls and more recently has gotten into centerfire. I will be ordering about 30 blanks to get started. Seems to be very positive reviews out there. It seems they use a lapping process to make a progressive taper to their bores. They offer both cut and button rifling. Just wondering if anyone here has any personal experience. I'm thinking of mostly 6MM, 6.5MM, 7MM, .224, .308, .338 for my first order.

What is pricing going to be like on the blanks?

What contours and lengths (finished) will be available?

Depending on your target demographic, these questions may or may not come into play.

Just in the initial stages so have not got a firm price yet but it should be VERY competitive with other brands sold in Canada. Standard blanks finish to 27.5 inches with extra length available. I'll be stocking heavy contours with lighter ones available by order.

According to a post I just read on another forum they have nitriding as an option. I guess a barrel should probably be shot a bit before it was sent back though which would be time consuming.
