I got this out to the range and fired it.
The recoil is soft, it is a great fit.
It will not pick up the first shell.. You load a couple shells and can pull the bolt handle all day long with out chambering a shell. However, slide a 3rd shell in the breach and all three will cycle well. Am I missing something when it comes to chambering the first round? Or is it time for a tune up from a pro?
edit: I talked to the smith. The lesson for me is that the gun ran fine. That is how they are built!
