Benelli 828 sport

I was reading up and also watched a few videos on the New Benelli 828 sport. I understood it’s currently available in Europ and other countries but not currently available in North America but can’t seem to get an answer why or even when it will be available here in Canada ?

I am aware the original U828 has its issues, curiouse to see if they managed to sort them out with the 828 Sport ?

For what they charge for a U828 you can buy a heck of alot better gun in a Beretta or Browning. I don’t imagine the sport will be any less in price either.

I'm happy with my 828U. Ive had no issues to speak of...

It's different. Innovative in my opinion. As a LH shooter, the ability to customize cast and drop is huge. It's lightweight and recoil is pretty minimal.

I don't really like the safety as it's hard to manipulate compared to other B guns - but you get used to it.

A buddy of mine shoots an 828U and he's had lots of trigger problems with his, it's been back to Stoeger once and it still messes up occasionally. It may be innovative but after seeing his problems I have no desire to spend my money that way.
