does anyone have a benelli legacy 28? I was looking on the benelli site and this gun caught my eye. does anyone have one or has anyone handled one?

I handled one at the local range, and it was light, actually a little too light in the muzzle for my tastes. Eli's had two of these guns on sale at a great discount this spring, but I just couldn't come up with a use for one, as I use my 28 gauges for skeet, upland and pheasant hunting, and I prefer an O/U for those uses.

Agree. Also found it very light in the muzzle. 2 grand was the biggest draw back however. I just could not see what it could do better for the cost than my Rem 1100 28ga sporting or my Franchi al48 which were 2 grand for both of them and have never given me any issues

Have not handled one,but have read quite a lot about them. They seem to be nice working shotguns. However I find the $2000 price tag a bit high. Especially when one can purchase a 28 gauge Franchi 48 AL,which is almost the same weight, but for half the price.Like 3macs said, I too find the price to be the biggest draw back.

I've put a few rounds through one and didn't like it. At a 5lbs. it is too light for me. Also it was burdened with the typical Benelli trigger pull which tends toward awful.
