some mag extensions must be removed prior to takedown if you have one...after you remove the barrel (with the bolt locked back) ...release the bolt under control - pull the bolt handle out (it is a "friction fit" ) from the side of the bolt and then the bolt assy slides forward...... Personally I would not recommend any further field stripping till you get a demo from a suitably informed person... good luck
