Benelli M1 S90

You won't find any new ones up here, the M2 all but replaced it for anyone wanting polymer furniture, especially since we can only get the Field (and Montefeltro) model.

I WISH I could get some M1S90 parts imported like a shorter non-ribbed barrel, but that's a pipedream.

*The prohib list*

The firearms of the designs commonly known as the Benelli M1 Super 90 shotgun and the Benelli M3 Super 90 shotgun, and any variants or modified versions of them, with the exception of the:
M1 Super 90 Field;
M1 Super 90 Sporting Special;
Montefeltro Super 90;
Montefeltro Super 90 Standard Hunter;
Montefeltro Super 90 Left Hand;
Montefeltro Super 90 Turkey;
Montefeltro Super 90 Uplander;
Montefeltro Super 90 Slug;
Montefeltro Super 90 20 Gauge;

I wonder what the different is between the normal S90 and the S90 Field?

lol
Another "winning" decision from our overloads.

Kind of like the Mossy "Blaze" being NR and the "BlazeAK" being prohib?

Bingo. There's nothing stopping me from changing all my furniture and barrel over to the tactical stuff, but to buy a receiver that's marked anything other than "Field" is verbotten.

The one thing I did notice was mine isn't a tapped receiver, so I'd need to deal with that if I wanted to mount a rail.

Yes, 25th anniversary M1 Super 90. Black synthetic. 28" barrel, but I think it has Crio chokes, not Mobil. Can't really find much out about them. I'm wondering if they a built to a lesser quality?? Big price difference with a M2, for just a Comfortech stock.

I handled / shouldered one at P&D recently.

Didn't notice any differences between it and the older production M1's. Seemed to balance and handle as expected. Didn't break it down of course so no idea on the internals.

I saw a Russian video on YouTube, they say it is basically M2 metal in M1 reproduction stock. Trigger group was slightly different from M2.

Mine is coming soon if Canada Post does not mess up. Need to find a decent mag extension and possibly Taran lifter.

S&J Hardware has a nice mag extension if you can't find the factory +2. I use a Tacstar on mine without issue (though I've also got the factory +2).
