Benelli m2 28” 12 Guage appropriate asking price?

Hey guys. I bought a new benelli last fall and put about 25 rounds of target loads through it to test it out. Beautiful gun shoulders like a dream but my wild guess is I won’t be shooting clays as often as I had thought so thinkin of sellin her so I can make my Maccabee build happen. Any ideas on price?

I'll take it off your hands for $5 :) Seriously you should be able to get $1500-1600 for it used, they retail for a little north of $1700 right now.

Not a chance, you’ll get anywhere from $1100-$1300 max. I have sold a number of M2’s and that is the EE value. People don’t care if it’s had 25 or 500 shells through it, it’s a used gun and that’s the range,

As nice as it looks I’d hope I could atleast start at 1500$ but I’m not out to rip anyone off. I absolutely dig this gun. I just don’t know how much I’ll really shoot clays with it. I don’t duck hunt so ya..

You won’t get that kind of money but go ahead and try, the EE is full of guns with numerous BTT’s so yours will fit right in

Ya I guess if I can get 1200-1400 for it but even at 1000$ for new shotgun your not buying a benelli anywhere. Unless you want the pump version. Sometimes your better off keeping the firearm but in my case I really do just fine with a pump action

Classic CGN thread, haha.

How much is this worth??
*gets realistic number*
No, I think it's worth way more than that.
*lists it for retail, claiming "save tax and shipping!*

If Elwood Epps has the shotgun for 1400 brand new, and if you bought it for 1700.. You're going to have to put that into consideration that others are going to look for the cheapest price possible. In saying that, I'd sell it for 1250 + shipping then. If you've only put a box or so through it and it's still mint then that is killer in my eyes, if others on here want to be cheap (sorry boys) then I guess they don't want it that bad and let them spend full price on a new one. In saying that, you can't just knock off a little bit off the full retail price and expect people to buy yours, why would they? When they can just go out and buy brand new for 100 or so more.. Keep it reasonable and attractive to sell and you'll sell it. It just sucks that if you bought it for 1700 and Elwood epps has it for 1400.... makes your asking price harder now.
Best of luck.

^exaxtly I always take that into account myself. If a new one unused is a couple bucks more why would I not buy that one over a like new used one. Unless saving a fair amount of money then yes.
