I bet you clicked this thread in the hopes of informing me that I cannot get this shotgun in Canada huh?.

I have some bad news for you :)

Some quick history first..

I've been dealing with some rather interesting yet very annoying health issues over the past two years. Rather than let that idle time goto waste, I decided to search out a good upgrade to my Mossberg 930 SPX for 3 gun.

On to the good stuff, here are photos of my Benelli performance shop m2 3-gun edition

Lighter than the 930 SPX could be due in part to the lack of an extended magazine tube, (of which I am sorting out with the dealer. The price reflects the inclusion of an extended mag, so it should be there. )

Despite being a 21" barrel, it seems to point better than the 930. The grip angle feels very odd, even with the largest shim that angles the stock downwards. The port is nicely opened up and far easier to load than the 930 (I will probably have this opened up abit more even to work better)

So I finally got tabs on one and awaited it's importation (nearly 2 years on the wait list). What next?.

How about some goodies from Taran Butler himself? lightened bolt, Ti bolt handle, and spring kit, the safety and mag release went missing however :(

I have to admit, I love the bolt :)

No chance to get to the range, I had a surgical procedure done today which has left me at home resting.

Oh man that's a sick Benelli. I'm envious of you!

Does the lifter gate bite like other m2 models?

Getting that bolt was no small task I would bet. They no longer sell them due to high demand for complete TTI shotties.

It's a full gate and not forked like other models. Strangely enough, it has a bead blasted finish as opposed to polished finish. I'll have to take this to the bench and polish it out.

Did you ever get your mag tube extension sorted out?.

The dealer is sending me one that should have come with the 3 gun edition. We'll see what comes in the mail...

It took some convincing for sure, they never really sold them individually at all (just kinda teased everyone with them).

Taran is a super nice guy though (also one of my hero's) I think if I ever need to get another shotgun, I'll just go to him and have one built by him. He is the one who designed the Salient Arms M2's when he was with them.

It's still at the gunsmith. It's been out for almost 2 weeks now. Hoping to get it back soon, the anticipation is killing me!

Post pics when you get the extension added to your M2.
