Model 11029 looks like it would be a good fit. 3 chokes included. No gas but inertia based action. Should be able to accept sling, light, and shell holder. More $ than 870 or 590 but possibly better build quality?

Anyone have one in their collection?

Lol there's thousands of M2's out there, and even more of all the other inertia guns from Benelli like M1's and SBE's. You need only search YouTube to find plenty of review videos. They only suffer when you start tacking on extra weight.

Loved mine, but I like my 1301 better. As lerch said, just don't get it too heavy by adding too many goodies and they are very reliable. The more weight you add, the less inertia available to cycle the action. I had a light and hook and loop shell holder on mine and it ran 100% with everything I put through it.

I love the lack of a gas system and slim fore end but am not a fan of the sharp recoil impulse compared to a gas gun.

you sould check a sponsor here TNA they build a m2 clone for less then half the price of m2 it has good review

Been running one for a few months. Reliability is top notch. It sat for years before I got it and the oil was gummed up and sticky. It still ran birdshot reliably albeit sluggishly. Quick clean and oiling has it running fast. Like mentioned above, recoil is sharp. The tactical is 6.7lbs empty which is light for a 12 guage. The inertia system does not soften recoil like a gas system so you get to experience all the recoil. Build quality is typical Benelli, top notch. Trigger is rather good, ergos are great. I've installed a limbsaver pad but haven't had it out yet to see how much of a difference it makes.

The M2's recoil is similar to, but slightly less than a pump gun IMO. Incredibly reliable, even with trap loads.
