So, got my new M4 today from Reliable Guns, put 55 rounds through it at the range, 50 00Buck and 5 light trap loads. tons of fun. learned how to do the "ghost load" (not sure if that's what everyone calls it), 7 rounds goes by pretty quick. So, what are the best bits and pieces to add to it? I know I'd love to find a standard stock for it, but can't one in all my searching. Not a pistol grip one either, just a regular stock.
I did a search, but can't find anything on here either.

Lots of find it is .... Possible upgrades:

- extended Mag Holder
- larger bold release
- larger charging handle
- larger safety
- side saddle
- optics - reflex site
- light

My 2-cents

The Blam4 mount is a solid cheap option for mounting a light. The surefire x series sit very well on it for easy activation without a tape switch but I found they sat too far out for comfort. I would think they would snag a lot so I'm currently looking for the lowest profile light mount possible that will fit and kind of tuck a light closer to the barrel or mag (suggestions anyone?). The mesa side saddle shell carriers are also very solid and add +20 LCF to your gun. I've got a bushnell trs-25 on mine, and I find it really helps with faster strings. The stock mount gives me the perfect optic height while using the collapsible stock on the longest setting. I tried an eotech on it but it's just too big and sits too high on the gun. I tried a 3/4" charging handle on it, and found it too large. I've got a dave's metal works oversize charging handle on it right now which I like and is a similar shape to the stock one except just large enough to save your hand meat from being pinched if you're driving the gun hard and doing superfast tactical lightning reloads. I'd like to get a Freedom Fighter Tactical 1/2" titanium charging handle to try out but haven't gotten around to ordering it.

Yeah definitely looking for the oversized safety, button and cocking handle. I'd really like to find a straight stock with no pistol grip too.
Mag extensions, curious on those, new full tube that only holds 5 3inch or add on extension to achieve the same? And they are still legal that way right?

If you go with the extension tube for the "look" make sure to plug it so it will only hold 5.9 3" shells And NOT 6.0 3" shells. Following this advice is uber important.

Once plugged it can take 6 - 2-3/4" shells in the tube plus 1 in ghost load and blah blah blah blah...

Yeah I know not to let it hold more than 5 3 inch shells (sure would be nice if it was designed for 3.5inch shells). Just gotta find an extension.
Probably going to throw a Surefire X300 on it at some point, and an Aimpoint too.
