Benelli M4 aftermarket may tube questions

Have a few questions.
How many can you fit in your M4 with the after market mag tube instaled and the. Aluminum removed.
3 inch magnum shells. I know shells can be quite different in lenght.
Some aftermarket tubes we are seeing are not blocked and some have an epoxy insert to limit them.
Just want to know what peoples results with aftermarket tubes are, and if you are blocking them are you doing it to 5 of 3inch or 2 3/4.

Mine was from CCTS - it is blocked with a epoxied plastic slug.

It holds 6 x 2-3/4", and only 5 x 3". Limit the tube to 5.9 x 3" and you'll be golden.

As far as I know you have to limit to 5 max of the largest size stamped on the barrel. As long as it says 3" then 5.9 with 3" is legal. That's half the reason I want a versamax 3.5" I just don't understand why they stamped their tactical version with 3" max or I would own one right now.

Have your tried. Differen brand of shells, no issues with getting all 5 in?

I don't shoot 3" very much in my M4, but I've never had an issue with ANY brand fitting 6 x 2 3/4".
