I've got one of the Sulun Tac-12 Benelli M4 clones, and I'm looking to get a lower mounting point for my Vortex Venom rather than the rail system. Does anyone know if the mounting points/threads are the same spec between the clones and the real Benelli M4?

I've been looking at this GFG mount as an option.

And yes, I contacted the manufacturer to no avoid. According to their rep, they haven't tried mounting it on the clones, which is shocking considering how plentiful they are right now on the Canadian market.

If you want, I can double check that yours is good to go. Send me the measurements from hole to hole in a PM and I will double check against my m4

Much to my surprise, it appears that Canuck operators have a 4 screw set up that does not match up at all with the real m4 5 screw set up. Important to check your rail to see if the screws line up and are correct.

I would ask everyone with a clone to quickly check to see the rail configuration on their clone so we can have a bit of a database on what fits and what does not. This seems to be the biggest issue but I would like to continue the thread and discuss other part compatibility as a reference.

So in that light. Canuck Operator 4 screw top picatinny rail (easy to spot and check) will not be compatible with after market rail accessories. B&T and Strike Industries handguards will fit but are a bit loose compared to an M4 but the screws for positioning work. I would recommend with the Strike industries handguard you should invest in long m3 set screws. GG&G/TT enlarged bolt handle fit fine on the Canuck Operator.
