Benelli M4 light mounting options

How do you M4 owners mount a light solidly?

There doesn't seem to be many options. I was looking at the BLAM4 w/ gear sector/QD sling attachment as it allows you to disassemble the gun without removing it, but the damn rail is plastic.... I will be using a Surefire M300.
I really don't want to have to buy the B&T for $300 just to get a proper light setup.

Thanks for the input.

I was thinking of putting the M300 and a QD sling point on the same rail. I hear it JUST fits.

I also hear it has play on the barrel.

I guess I will give it a try.

Putting a sling on the rail is a bad idea "it will bend the mount" use the sling loop and you will be good.

as for play, mine is super tight zero play :D
 
Problem with that is if I want the light on the left so I can activate it with my thumb the loop is on the right side (I'm a righty)
 
Yeah that would work. I wanted a setup that used clicky tailcap for KISS but i guess a little compromise is needed in this situation. Thanks!
