Benelli M4 owners question

Quick question for any owners out there as my local store can't hold onto the M4's.. as soon as they come in the door someone buys them.

I recently replaced the BLAM 4 sling and light mount that came with my M4 with the original Benelli one and notice it is able to rotate a little whereas the BLAM 4 mount was solid. Is a little bit of movement normal on the front sling mount?

I can move mine a couple of millimeters, but I have to work at it, probably not something I'd notice without being told to look for it.

I think my wiggles a little. Never gave it any thought. Have used it lots with slings aggressively and never had any issues with it.

Mine also has a small amount of play.

Used to own one a few years ago and it had the wiggle as well.
