Benelli M4 Picatinny Rail

Not sure exactly what your looking for but I would suggest the brugger and thomet quad rail for your m4s90. You can get them through wolverine, but they are really hard on the wallet....

Just a heads up, stay away from the fab defense quad for the m4s90... It just doesn't fit well in the shotgun....

I think he's just looking for the top rail that goes on top of the receiver.

Maybe Wolverine can help? Not sure who the distributor is, but maybe if you find that out they can bring one in for you.

Yup, that's the one, the rail that came with the M4 from new, which I now can't find in my pile of gun parts when I replaced it with the Mesa 6 shot holder and integrated rail. Brownells wants $120US, so i'm guessing $160+ here in Canada.

I like carrying my shotgun while walking by holding my hand over the receiver, and the 6 shot doesn't really allow this and makes it awkward.

I guess at that price I'll either bite the bullet and keep it, unless someone wants to trade their factory rail for my Mesa 6 shot. :D

If I'm not mistaken, you SHOULD be able to remove the side saddle portion of the Mesa setup. It looks like it comes off from the looks of it. Of course, you'd still have the empty 'plate' on the side, but I think the shell holders should come off via screws on the back.

I've also heard Brownells now hips anything less than $200, so you should be okay. I ordered some AR parts a while back - total came to $120, and it shipped no issues!

Thanks!

I'm going to check that out right now. :)

UPDATE:

The shell holder that sucks at holding shells is now off, rail and plate still there. 6 screws on backside to remove.

Thanks a million, Canucklehead! I guess I should have had a look at the mount before posting nonsense.

Also the Brownells info is great.

HA! I was actually kinda guessing - the last time I was fondling the M4, it LOOKED like the shell holder wasn't one piece with the rail, so I was actually guessing it would come off. :) Glad I could help! Now - post a pic with that straight stock!! ;)

Well, you guessed correctly!

Attaching the straight stock was easy as pie once I fished all your packing peanuts out of it !!! :D

Shouldering the gun is much more natural and it's easier to get the sights aligned. It's definitely lost a lot of the "cool factor", but I could now see my Beretta semi-auto gathering dust during bird season.
