Benelli M4 restricted or non?

Looking to buy a Benelli M4 but I have heard that with the collapsable stock it makes them restricted? Is that true or not? I would imagine if I went with the 14" over 18" that would be the case but a collapsable stock? I want to be able to bring this thing into the bush with me. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

14" model is restricted. 18.5" model is not. Stock style has nothing to do with it - barrel length on a semi-auto is the defining factor.

18.5" model is non restricted - that's all you need to know!

If you do not have any land to shoot it on and can only goto the range get the R 14"

If you have a place other then the range get the NR 18.5"
