Sweet. Regretted selling my standard stock before using the gun a while... i definitely prefer straight stock!

No bs or end user cert. I had a bunch of other shotgun parts and non controlled items on the order. I figured I would at least get a call regarding this, but as a nice surprise it just shipped.

I wish they have the comfortech stock as an option. That will make the M4 perfect.

I haven't had the opportunity to take the new stock for a test drive yet. I didn't find the recoil of the original collapsible stock bad at all though.

Canuckians were buying tac shotguns from Brownells back in 2013? Anyway, if a US dealer is wanted, Cabelasbasspro has M4s in stock, with a 10% discount if you have one shipped to a store for pickup. Unless they've cancelled that last bit, check online.

Re M4 stocks, I've had both types. Both have their advantages but having been asked, I have a slight preference for the fixed tacical stock with pistol grip, not really expecting to be handling the gun in tight spaces like say inside the house. However, if that did happen, the pistol grip would allow you to provide enough resistance to the recoil to allow the gun to cycle, which it does at all times anyway.

depends on the use; field stock for hunting, tele-stock for use with plates/vest and fixed pistol grip stock for competition use.

M4 was my first shotgun and I still really like them but after switching to a more traditional shotgun (Versamax) I dont like the pistol grip for competition as I find it kinda gets in the way when loading.

What rail system do you have installed here? Just picked up a Benelli myself and looking to put one on

I liked the RX Arms 6 position recoil tube stock when I had an M4. I could never find a comfortable setting on the OEM one.

I think that was a B&T forend on that one. I sold it years ago. It looked OK, but it was on the larger size, and I wasn't a fan of the "cheese grater" effect.

My personal preference is the field stock. Have bought and sold the M4's telescoping stock 3 times, want to like them, but just don't.
