Has anyone bought one of these trigger guards and transferd there trigger components to this alloy one. Seem well built. A & S engineering

Are you having challenges with the stock one?

I've heard the newer M4's have polymer trigger packs... but is there something functionally different between the metal and polymer? I know there was uproar when Remington went this way on their 870 Express' years ago - but in my experience, the polymer ones perform just fine.

To each his own - but it just seems like a really big expense for limited value. Personally I think the oversized bolt release from GG&G is a better investment. :)

Ya i Know its just that i was not aware of the polymer trigger assembly. you would think on a shotgun that costs close to 3 grand would have an aluminum trigger guard. i would expect it from a cheaper firearm, But from a Benelli. i think its just a cost thing. not for weight or anything. I just hate plastic crap. You may say no one will know but you. but i just like the stronger aluminum trigger group.

1): What Benelli trigger guard is that?

2): Benjamin put a plastic trigger guard on an air rifle I owned and it lasted about half an hour, more or less broke on its own, and made the rifle ticklish hard to sell too. So despite being a strong believer in polymer body handguns plus rifle and shotgun stocks and such, I'm not a fan of the concept on something thin like a trigger guard.

A Benelli M4 the trigger assembly is polymer now on the newer builds. I was Shocked!
