I have heard many tales of these mag extensions flying off during heavy shooting. Nordic makes a barrel clamp and that seems to be an answer but my dream is to run a benelli 14" with a 20" barrel for sports. That clamp is really gonna get in the way of convenient barrel swaps- so what do yall reckon is it worth running an extension without a clamp?

Mine definitely loosens up abit after a few hundred rounds, but it`s never come off during heavy shooting.
here is what we do with 870s
1-Screw on just the mag tube nut "with out ext tube until tight.
2-Then apply red loctite to the threads on the ext tube and screw it into the mag tube nut.
3-Remove mag tube nut with ext tube inplace to dry. "wipe off any excess loctite"
